Not trivializing the repair process or the sheer amount of money $1B is, but we blow that on drones and surveillance like it’s pocket change. Hell private citizens like Elon Musk with that kind of money to blow just use Flint as political capital with zero intention of ever helping. The money is there, the desire to actually help Americans in need of basic sustenance is absolutely not.
