    youtube actually

grammy performance gave her the boost she needed

I mean, her fans have been making a push this week for sure. Her Grammy performance got uploaded to YouTube and they watched that like crazy. They also went HAM on pure sales on iTunes/Amazon. They know Leave the Door is going #1 next so they made the push for it to reach #1 this week.

I'm just surprised that no other rapper has accomplished this, but I guess it makes sense.

Would have guessed Drake had done that already.

Yeah I heard drake had 6 n*1 (correct me if I'm wrong)
Are they all on the same album??? congrats either way but it's hard to believe drake doesn't have number one's across different albums

  • In two weeks time:
    Drake: 8 #1 hits.
    Bruno Mars: 8 #1 hits.
    Cardi B: 5 #1 hits.

    Scorpion: 3 #1 singles.
    DLDT: 1 #1 single.
And then What's Next debuted at #1, but who knows whether or not it'll make his next album.

Cardi will be the first rapper to score multiple #1 hits on more than 1 album. That's the record she's setting come Monday.

S*** used to be way more competitive, like take in Hotline Bling peaked at #2 and a song as huge as No Role Modelz peaked at #36

    I went and looked

    Views (1)- One Dance
Scorpion (3)- God's Plan, Nice for What, In My Feelings
    DLDT (1)- Toosie Slide

Then he has What's Next, which I would assume will be on CLB

New rules to help black artist fail mark my words give it a few more years

when fox news was running idea that cardi b performance is end of American empire they is obviously going to be some curious people which wouldn't normally listen to her music listen to it

  • 5 #1 hits in 5 years is crazy. 5 years into Drake's mainstream career, he only had 1 #1 hit and that was as a feature on a Rihanna single.

Yeah, look at the US column. That's the one that represents where each song peaked on the Hot 100.
