I'm on episode 5, and if this show has proved anything, it's that rich people sagas are boring as f*** no matter what planet they're on. I couldn't care less about that storyline. The heist bit is hitting its generic beats, but the actual heist should be fun. I'm still having a great time tho

Same. The Mon Mothma parts are pure but Andor is a cool character and the heist payed off. Just finished episode 6.

Heist episode was good stuff. The next episode had a lot of rich people talk which I guess is important for the plot, but
Andor stays getting himself in interesting situations though and that keeps me watching honestly

Dammit
Just watched all of this over the weekend. Absolutely incredible.
I’m still in shock this is a Disney+ show because it genuinely feels like something HBO would’ve made
On episode 10. Good ass episode, some great reveals and the Mon storyline has some tangible conflict injected in it finally.

It's crazy how some clever writing can elevate everything about a show

The monologue on sacrifice was
I really enjoyed the Mon storyline
It only caught fire for me when they laid out the conflict in relation to her daughter.
As for Season 1 as a whole, here's my review:
THEY DIE IN ROGUE ONE 0/10
Fantastic show. I am very impressed with what they did here, especially as we already have a movie that acts as a lead up to the show so we already know what happens, but the writing is so good that it hooks you and makes you love these characters. It looks expensive too. Love the gritty look, the action sequences were sweet, and just like The Bear, another show that just works in a "firing on all cylinders" kinda way.
9/10

what was your fav ep?
what was your fav ep?
It's tough, but I love the final episode (had some genuinely jaw dropping moments, and some heartbreaking stuff), the heist episode, the prison break episode, premiere just for how it immediately sucked me in with the atmosphere and Cassian himself. I genuinely don't have one fave because of how consistent the show is. That last three episode run in particular was god-like.

Might be the prison break or the heist. It’s crazy how quickly they made me care for these minor characters that actually had stakes attached to em, and they helped these episodes a LOT.
The heist might take it home cause of
Finally started watching this
Why does this seem so much better than the Mando and Boba Fett shows

Don’t wanna say a lot if you’re just starting now but this is the best writing I’ve ever seen in Star Wars. Honestly, for me, it was a near perfect show. It’s something I’d recommend to non-star wars fans too.

definitely the team. It seems like they know star wars compared to those who did kenobi and boba

I was pleasantly surprised cause I'm so sick of the Rebels vs Empire dynamic in Star Wars but they actually made it really interesting and the dialogue is insane. Never thought I'd see a Star Wars project this well written. We need more stuff like this moving forward and less dependence on cameos

Yes, agree on all fronts. To me this was possibly the first time in my life where I’ve gotten a new Star Wars instalment where the empire didn’t seem like a joke. It actually felt like a dangerous regime. And I agree about being over cameos and s***.
