Tony Gilroy (wrote the Bourne trilogy, wrote and directed Michael Clayton) was the show runner and head writer. His brother Dan Gilroy (wrote and directed Nightcrawler) was also a writer on the show.
The directors weren’t very high profile, but they were all (I believe) British directors who had worked on some pretty high budget and well received series.
I remember back when they were announcing different crew members, it seemed like everyone involved had worked on some good s*** and I was hoping it would pay off…and it did. As others have said itt, this series really felt like GOOD television, rather than a mediocre product that we show mercy for because it’s within a universe we’re already invested.
So I’m guessing it’ll only be 2 seasons? Might’ve even reported before

Don’t wanna say a lot if you’re just starting now but this is the best writing I’ve ever seen in Star Wars. Honestly, for me, it was a near perfect show. It’s something I’d recommend to non-star wars fans too.
