Gonna assume R1 is Andor s3
Rewatched it last night. It’s basically an extended season finale really
ben mendelsohn ate every scene, really good presence and Kleya, Luthen are so good, they got their own little rule of 2, sith style.
Alonso Ruizplachios doing Luthen's episode was great
Nice to see him doing sci-fi
Perfection, start to finish.
Rogue One on the other hand...
give Tony some money to remake it as a proper season 3

Just watched it and a new hope rogue one is great
good show
that brief moment where syril walks by cassian and just misses seeing him before the massacre started filled me with so much inexplicable dopamine. couldn't tell you why. i just thought that specific moment was cool.

Been tryna get into this show but I haven’t been able to get passed Ep1 for some reason
I wish rogue never existed. It would’ve been the perfect 3rd and 4th season for this show.

Oh it starts slow bro. Like you've got to brute force your way through at least two episodes to get to the peak s***. The wait is worth it, trust me.

Yeah my biggest takeaway on the rewatch is that they just didn't have enough time to develop those characters as much as they wanted to. Paper thin characterization because this s*** can't be 4 hours.
Cassian instantly became the best character of the crew, and it's because of all the time we spent getting there. The last hour tho
Hilarious how this arguably became the best star wars product ever made and when it was announced everyone including myself were like what the f*** are they thinking why do we need this

The Vader scene hits even harder as a series finale after watching Andor season 2,
The first time we see a lightsaber and it’s absolutely epic

this, I just rewatched Rogue one yesterday, that scene is brazy still.
I like that they had so many aliens in this to make it feel like star Wars but I wish they had some aliens in main roles aside from having all those sick costumes/make-up just to be background characters
"hey guys what if we made a TV show about the least memorable character from Rogue One"
"wow this is a great idea, green light"
