Do you ever try to introduce them to deep cuts?

If it's friends or family I'll play some a hidden gem hoping that something will spark and get them to look beneath the surface.

I only do this with artists they love and are somewhat familiar with.

If you rather listen to the same songs you hear on the radio all day instead of digging into these artists catalogue and getting a better feel for them, you not a real fan to me if you’re offended that’s just too damn bad.

basically all of us were like that though unless your first taste of music was deep cuts you were probably just listening to s*** on the radio, found artists you liked then checked out their other stuff. idk why you’d say it isn’t worth your time to show someone deep cuts when that’s how you convert them
