capersWhat exact goalposts are you talking about? Also you can’t really say this virus and pandemic are behaving how we expected, it’s all probability. For example it was possible that this virus could be highly mutable or it wouldn’t, we can’t know until it happens and then we have to adjust. So goals will always have to adjust.

Now its vaccines + masks when none of the prominent variants show any vaccine evasiveness and when 99% of covid hospitalizations/deaths come from unvaxxed niggas
