Many women see people like Cardi and Meg as empowering role models

By dismissing them but saying you want the “best for women”, you’re implying that women don’t know better

To be fair, there are women who say that to their children (teenage and young adults) the reason for saying that is often an issue of values, men and women of certain convictions (socially conservative or even feminists) wouldn't necessarily want cardi b as their role model and advise others to follow suit for their specific set of reasons.
For example, the question of women supporting "toxic masculinity" rappers is often raised too amongst feminists.

Exactly. Which is what CeeLo said. It’s not about expression it’s about views and money

Why cant it be about both?

Can I ask why you think they show their bodies?

    Reclaiming sexuality
They like the way they look
    It sells records
    Artistic reasons
    They like the attention
    It’s a feminist statement

    Just to name a few

All are possible reasons. All are legitimate reasons. All should be their choice and not ours

Why do male rappers wear jewelry, flaunt money, cars, and women in their videos?

Because that’s what a lot grew up on/around.

    My top 5 this year?

It is lame for people to have high expectations for the Megs and Cardi B’s of the world. I think people are just worried of how much a platform a song like Wet Ass P**** is getting and how it reflects society cause art imitates life.

Yes these are all “possible” except 2 which we know are for certain. Which brings us back to expression. We should be able to tell they are expressing those things but we don’t do they are expressing nothing
