Yeah I agree but there's been way too many weird hints towards a collab for a while now. The tour announcement video even ended on a clip of Drake & Yachty in the studio, which felt weird at the time
there's been rumours about them having a tape since a few weeks before Her Loss dropped as well, but i guess we'll see. I don't think I've ever seen Drake spend this much time with another artist tbh
That clip was most likely from the Her Loss sessions. That's what I got from that.
the trailer Drake dropped a few months ago made it kinda clear he was working on a tape with yachty honestly and they're stuck together like glue
gonna be interesting for sure
Which trailer?
Stop with the excuses
Everyone hated on Honestly, Nevermind when it dropped and it flopped. It has nothing to do with being a „surprise release“. People skipped this album except the ones who loved this album since the first day.
What the hell are you talking about Her Loss? It sold more than enough first week but most people also don‘t listen or care that much about collab projects and it was never different. So many people who are listening to Drake don‘t give a s*** about 21.
If he‘s dropping another Scorpion/CLB you‘ll see what I mean
Her Loss sold 404k first week. Drake might do over 500k fw again if he‘s going back to his old formula and I think he will go back to it (just my opinion)
I’m not sure if we’re getting a return to that formula or if it’s going to be scary hours 3, which I see being more of an IYRT type project in tone with a bunch of features
Was already too much with CLB to HN to HL imo
I definitely think so. Plus, he's running through the eras too quick, not pushing/promoting enough songs before moving on to the next thing. But hey, I'm always here for new music so whatever he does works for me.
True but at this point in drake’s career I doubt he cares about numbers like that
He definitely does. Not as much as before but he definitely does and I'm speaking moreso of how his albums live over time, not first-week numbers. Taking like a year off and dropping a solid solo project would reap a lot of benefits. But it's whatever.

I mean to be fair it’s been a year since HNVM and 7 months since HL.
Drake is awesome man
Love this run he’s been on. It’s like something switched (flip flip) after CLB and he’s just been on go mode

Yeah, but still. He could let the music breathe more. But maybe the logic behind his release strategy for this decade is that he won't be making music past this decade so he wants to give fans as much music as possible before retiring + he's in a very creative zone + he wants to ensure he fulfills the obligations of his current deal so he doesn't still have albums left to deliver by the start of the next decade.
I'd understand if that was his logic. Plus, it seems like he's having a lot of fun making music so I can't complain. As long as the music remains good enough, I'm here for it.
Stake era actually blessed us so much
Drake’s gambling addiction is the best thing to happen to hip hop in a minute
It’s also funny how that Drake d*** addict copypasta might have been right

"So here we go again.
New Album SOON."
peep his post history and the dates of the posts
You getting sacrificed if this does not drop for real though
lol some of y’all are not gonna be happy with what’s coming…let me just say that this new project is the embodiment of the look he debuted last night. take that as you will
So more rnb ballads and singing? INN
Love this type of leaker. He literally only drops into the Drizzy sub when he has info lol. Must be involved with some process at the end of an album creation.
My personal guess is 6/16 cause it gives audiences a couple weeks to learn songs for tour and allows Travis to drop in late June.

He can f*** around and drop next week too tho

Only chasing after bags now he gotta gameplan lmao he pushing these out fast to get out the deal again and re-up another 5
then what songs did he release in 2018 that did that? God's Plan didn't, Nice for What didnt
HNVM had more impact than Views/Scorpion, you've got Bad Bunny & Kendrick making pretty similar music
Lowkey sounds like @MusicBot is actually referring to ‘cultural phenomenon’ songs moreso, and yeah God’s Plan - Nice For What - In My Feelings are his last songs like that
But I don’t think Drake has been going for that so it’s all good. He just chilling now having fun lol

You must've forgot everyone's attempt at making their own One Dance/Controlla

Lol that guy has the worst takes ever
no disrespect but how do you people (derogatory) figure that Drake is in his prime right now
objectively speaking his legendary run ended with Scropion
we haven’t gotten a culture shifting moment from him since 2018
kenny and pusha ball gobblers in perpetual shambles.
This is so funny & ironic, cause it's coming from Thug.
