MisfitI don’t read the comics but I saw that twist coming from a mile away lol
In the manga it was slower paced imo which made it more surprising
Also they already spoiled it w the trailer here

Lowkey might be better than the Demon Slayer movie. It definitely kept me more entertained.

i’m going to go against the grain and say technically no. it has the setup of a traditional film (3 acts, including a “conclusion”) and i wouldn’t say self-contained but it finishes what it starts.
but id still recommend watching the anime or reading the manga if you can to get the most out of the movie. you’d appreciate it more. but if you can’t (and it is short) and want to catch it in theaters i’d say go for it.

everything about it was marvelous. The composition really elevated the scenes even more to a T 
(the school scene weww) and the fight choreo had me like
it just showed how GOATED Reze is Even after reading it and knowing what was gonna happen I almost weeped when she was walking towards the cafe

Oct 26, 2025Degausseri’m 30 minutes into it but man, this is visually such a downgrade and i just need to rant somewhere lmao
season 1 was like what studios usually do for movies. the shading and lighting were so dynamic and with softer complimentary colors. i loved how the animation was fluid and mimicked actual film making. the transitions, the angles, the “camera” movement.
the movie looks flatter and like any other typical anime. there’s constant planning and rotating with hard cuts. it’s not bad by any means, but again, it looks like anything else.
just knit picking and it won’t ruin how i feel about the movie but it’s honestly such a shame because season 1 was special
Its because people b****ed about the direction. So now it has to downgrade like every other anime. Season 1 was amazing.
