StardustSuper facts. I feel this started with aot. People are too quick to meme and make definitive claims on endings to years long series cause they cant control their emotions. Of course these series have tons of fans who've grown and have developed a strong bond with, but discussion always becomes too toxic and lacking in critical/beyond surface level thinking.
Then the anime drops and suddenly people realize these endings were never bad, people were just too quick to judge and didnt sit with them enough. It already happened with aot and mha, im sure it'll happen to the others too (although personally my problems with jjk already started in the anime and it didnt do anything to fix them, so neither time nor the adaptation seems to improve my thoughts on it)
No it's okay to admit that manga a lot of times have mediocre or lukewarm endings because of the format and environment of the medium. Especially Shonen manga that pumps a lot of money and attention.
