    Mental breakdown (?)

He just got really angry I don't know if thats really a full breakdown. Kanye and Chance both process grief differently as do many artist. They collided as friends while making music. Although its one of the few caught on camera like that I assure you it isn't as rare as you would think

They clearly still friends even after those issues

Nigga I personally know Chance and his team.... They chill people. Sometimes dark humor is easier than just being like "lets discuss another mans ptsd and death of his friend" when many of you haven't seen triggers, someone die or any of those horrors. It is 2:30am on a saturday.

You expect a nuanced discourse on PTSD and everything that comes with it or for everyone to be like "wow I forgive him for the big day cant wait to see what he drops next"

“ when many of you haven't seen triggers, someone die or any of those horrors.”

Aye bro Ima promote a challenge. Have one discussion on this site without coming off like a pretentious condescending d***head for once, k?

Tweet been out all day on People who has 7.6 Million followers and got 19 likes

"He continued, "I feel like this is something that we're all, as a mainstream, we're starting to be like, 'OK, yeah health is beyond just our physical.'"

The "All Night" rapper also opened up about his personal mental health struggles — and says he has "a lot of dark days."

"Obviously I deal with PTSD, I saw my friend killed in front of me when I was 19 and I've seen people I didn't know get killed too," he says. "You become kind of numb to it, like somebody else died last week but it stays with you, you know what I mean? And you don't realize until later — like I have lasting effects."

The episode, titled "Why Black Men Don't Cry with Chance the Rapper" will air on Nov. 1 at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET on Facebook Watch — and it will also feature a 19-year-old who shares he felt ashamed to ask for help when he came out as bisexual."

So yes there is something to be said about people like to consume the art, drama, relationship of artist but they don't really care to hear about her trauma or mental heatlh unless its in a song

That isn't pretentious. I am saying you feel people aren't taking it seriously enough. How are they supposed to take it seriously if they have never seen or experienced it.

There is nothing pretentious about that. Its fact

I mean I really think Kanye ran to be president because he thought someone was trying to kill him or 5150 him. Could it be considered "mental breakdown" I suppose but what Kanye was saying at the time wasn't incoherent. Its just like he truly seemed to think the only way he could stay free was by speaking directly to the people.

Around that time he was posting "they wont kill me they wont lock me up like they did MJ and Prince" and more

like it was hyper paranoia but to a degree it did make sense

    I am not Kanye's doctor.

Was he having a manic episode ? highly likely

did some of his train of thought and worries / hyper paranoia make sense? Yes

It has been proved true since in many ways.

  • A bunch of niggas not from Chicago grandstanding at 3am on Halloween weekend requesting no jokes on KTT . I ain't even make a joke. I said sometimes jokes help people address dark topics like this.

WE GET IT Y'ALL ARE MORALLY PURE AND THIS IS SERIOUS.

Then maybe it doesn't need a topic created at 3am on a Saturday

Maybe perhaps its a bait thread in the first place that will lead to bad faith discussions

Maybe KTT isn't really great at having discussions about PTSD and death especially about an artist they resent personally

His talk about ptsd reminds me of that time Lupe went on sway and he played a throwback vid from 2005 and lupe broke down cause most of the people in the vid were dead. Really crazy to imagine people you grow up around being murdered like it’s normal

    -His fear of being 5150d
-His fear of Kris/E keeping his family from him
    -Losing his kids
    -the divorce which he requested
-him getting killed because at the time he was fighting for music rights and contracts

    ALL MAKES SENSE

Yes Kanye is Bipolar but some of you too simply call everything he says just a manic episode WHEN IT MAKES LOGICAL SENSE

did he need to share that he almost aborted north

    Nah

but did it make sense as to why he was so "pro life"

    Yes
