Coloring Book was literally peak Chance the Rapper. It was him fully realized as an artist and as a person, and it is an objectively classic album.

Chance and that damn 3hat of his was everywhere for those 2 years of Coloring Books release. He was at the top of the rap game.

CB hate only started popping up widely after TBD cos we started getting all the hot takes about how he needed to be miserable and/or on d**** to make good music and CB being a classic didn't fit thay narrative

Dude waited too long and didn't capitalise on his own buzz. he also began to rile people up over different stuff so ended up killing his own PR. Also think he has too many yes men in the studio cos TBD is so badly overstuffed and really needs editing down.
