Like what is we talking bout yo lol.
People took their time to drop an album but 6 year wait is crazy no matter who you was lmao
BRO NOBODY GAF ABOUT THE CHARTS CAN YALL TAKE YALL TGD GOGGLES OFF FOR ONE DAMN SECOND AND JUST APPRECIATE THE MUSIC?
Love the energy fr. But you’re naive if you think nobody gives a f***.
The charts will be important for chance especially with how big day preformed.
And honestly I want as many people appreciating good music that speaks of the souls of black folk as possible.

This aint gonna sell for s*** man. Even if its somewhat good there's not many single type tracks on here.
Chance's goal should be to make something good enough to be given an opportunity with the audience. I think he accomplished that. Hard parts out the way
Holy f*** No More Old Men
so good
so good
That last verse was powerful. That’s exactly what I wanted from him that bag he was getting in on those YouTube releases

literally never gaf about chart talk since '94 dawg.
Chart talk is what's REALLY killed discourse on music.

Dont think so really for Chance. He's settled into a career musician role, like Curren$y and Fab
I'm happy with the reception so far, finna' check it out later @ work.
Motherfuckers be like
"Oh, you wanna cry in a Toyota? Or you wanna cry in a Rolls Royce?"
I don't wanna cry at all, how 'bout that one?
I don't wanna shed a tear no matter what car I'm driving
If I'm on a bus, a train, a trolley, a bike
I-I don't wanna cry
I don't wanna cry in no Rolls Royce as much as I don't wanna cry in a Toy-, I don't wanna cry!
I don't wanna cry, I wanna be happy!
I wanna be happy in a Toyota, I wanna be happy in a Rolls Royce
I wanna be happy on a bike, I wanna be happy walking!
I don't wanna take no sad walks, clear-my-head walks, I'm tired of it!
I wanna be happy, and I choose happiness
I choose that! How 'bout that?
How 'bout I don't wanna cry, no matter what vehicle or what modes of transportation I'm on
I don't wanna shed a tear
I don't wanna cry 'less it's happy tears
If it ain't happy tears, I don't care what it is

I don’t agree at all. He obviously wants this to be an all around success. The Big Day peaked at 2. It sold well but it became a meme.
He wants to return to what they were saying about him before. Dude was being lifted up as like a savior.
And then just from a more shallow place. He wants higher chart placement for financial reasons obviously.
Yall saying chance is okay with being a journeyman in hip hop like he’s in his 50s is crazy talk. 😂

Bro. That was almost a decade ago.

what do you think of the album so far?
favorite lines? instrumentals? features? thoughts on the music?
This was cool. Every song didn’t need to be four minutes long is my main complaint.
Wish he could have drop the promotional singles with Quiet Storm as an EP until Star Line dropped. I definitely prefer that over the album by a lot
