J. Cole never put himself on this damn pedestal. He just a real as nigga a lot of people can relate to. I ain’t f***ing niggas b****es, popping percs, or sliding on anybody, so Coles music can be a breath of fresh air at times. I don’t look to artist for the spiritual or political guidance.

Man, idk how ya'll can keep saying s*** like "J Cole never said he was a leader" seriously as if a huge portion of his discography isn't him acting as some wise elder trying to spread knowledge to the youth. Since when did you have to declare yourself a leader in order to be perceived as one? Cole's discog and the general way he carries himself made people view him as a leader. That's why no one looks at f***ing Lil Pump as a leader cause no one wants to be led by some d***ged out 19 year old who can't do simple math.

A lot of ya'll are just upset that you've seen behind the mask and realize that Cole isn't as smart as you once thought. So instead of just rolling with the punches and accepting the very valid criticism he's been receiving, you just resort to childish behavior and respond with "Well actually Cole never said he was smart or a leader, so its your fault for thinking he was either of those things cause if he was actually those things he would have told us."
