Charlamagne's not even a relevant voice for hip hop anymore.
And we all know FATD is going to do great fw numbers and go platinum in less than a year.
Believe it or not, it's perfectly possible to critique Drake without being a "hater."
Even Akademiks who's one of the biggest Drake stans on social media said the same exact thing that I said on here.
He said that the song sounded more like an album cut or B-Side than a lead single and that the song as a whole was "alright" but that Drake will still be able to numbers off of his name.
Again, I was called a "hater" by several people for saying the exact same thing Akademiks is saying even while saying it was a decent song.

I think we’re talking about 2 different things when it comes to structure
Sicko Mode is faster, danceable, has catchy lyrics, and is pretty easy to make a shorter radio edit of. All of those things work together to make the length and beat switches more approachable. It’s a very impressively written song that is a true lightning in a bottle moment that hasn’t been replicated since
SYO is slow, no real hook, and doesn’t have any of those songwriting tricks working for it. His fans just like it.
