The part where he blamed someone suffering from blood clots on discriminatory health care

“That isn't even the point. Serena stated that the nurses didn't listen to her regarding her pain nor her request. That just acknowledges and validates the research about black people being disproportionately under-treated for pain.”

Take them out the equation and their point still stand.....

    Now what?

Black women are disproportionately likely to face these complications, and they are also more likely to fall victim to America’s ongoing maternal mortality crisis, being three to four times more likely than white women to die from pregnancy-related complications.

ProPublica and NPR, which have collaborated on an in-depth maternal mortality reporting project, note that many of these deaths are largely preventable. But due to the impacts of systemic racism and discrimination, including in the care provided by the medical system, black women remain more likely than any other group to die from their pregnancies.

    NPR lying too?

Dude just don’t care about black people and he make it more clear every time.

Crazy how it’s always just “drama” for white cacs when a black person talks about issues they struggle with

I’m so sick and tired of it

He probably didn’t know another user cleared it up and you’ve ignored that THREE times already. You don’t care to learn about our struggles. You just want to have a “gotcha” moment and that moment is something so minor that you look like a d***.

"Almost all of those who died during or after pregnancy had multiple issues such as mental or physical health problems, were victims of domestic abuse, or were living in a deprived area. More than half of those who died were overweight or obese. Cardiac disease represents the largest single cause of indirect maternal deaths."

I'd say this offers more insight to the potential causes.
Black women have less access to mental health care, they have more physical health issues and are more likely to be victims of domestic abuse.
Again all these factors listed are issues that stem from systematic racism and income inequality.

Which coincides with my original post.
