It’s sub bass meant for subwoofers for the same effect as an 808 u litigious dumbass. U wanna be sassy instead of accurate. Stop with the fatherless s***. Without a kick, snare, or bass, the album ceases to be as experimental as AH structurally, u fatherless sob.

    Y’all can’t do s*** from a place of joy, u weak jealous p****.

Man you're still in here talking that bullshit

Deep bass lines are not drums, Im starting to think you really dont know s*** about music making

Also what you say has no legs because you twist everything for it to fit your narrative, even going as far as saying something is something when it is not (talking ajout that whole bassline thing), so yeah just chill out man you're really being dumb

Also how is AH that experimental strucurally ? ? Almost every song on this album follows a verse/chorus pattern lol with like 3-4 exceptions, but again the exceptions are nothing new for The weeknd lol

And dont tell me about how he opens up a very expected album with "No dRUms fOr 2 MiNuTEs" because that doesnt make it experimental lol

U gotta be an idiot who never been behind the boards if u think certain sounds can’t replace others. Your feelings are hurt and youre reaching. Stop embarrassing yourself. U don’t want to critique anything. U want to lash out because you’re fatherless.

I sed charli’s album is more experimental, but when AH was experimental, it was more so.

I’m comparing an artist who sells to one who doesn’t.

The one who sells is commercially successful while also having the freedom to experiment cause he’s better than most artists at connecting with ppl.

And u clearly don’t know the difference between sequencing, arrangement, and structure.

The more emotional u get, the more u reveal how much of a complete idiot u are. Humble yourself and maybe one day u won’t be.

And if you wanna talk about sequencing or arrangement you gotta undrrstand that AH sequencing as an album isnt anything crazy lol its just very well done but nothing unusual

Like how a f***ing building is made. It’s the same s***. What materials were used, where were they used, and why. That’s what structure is.

Charli and Weeknd are building for obviously different reasons, so I adjust for their market.

That’s why Charli’s tape is more experimental as a whole. It’s for a niche audience. That audience will dictate what standard means in the future.

The Weeknd is so good that he creates for Charli’s same audience, but in addition, he has to create for a much wider audience.

I’m not even saying Weeknd is better. I’m just not ignoring what their music is for and for whom it is made.

Charli could be a building meant to be a f***ing grocery store while The Weeknd is a building meant to be a gym. They are both buildings and I’m gonna talk about how they support their responsibilities.

My point from the jump was simply recognizing the things they do similarly.

Niggas got bent out of shape cause for some reason u can’t talk about charli and The Weeknd. U have to talk about charli and bon iver. That’s f***ing stupid.

If u don’t to want hear The Weeknd and charli compared, ignore it. But if u have an active problem with it, there’s clearly a bias that you’re aiming to protect.

I’m in a thread where i compared future’s album to charli’s because they both came out at the same time, and I’m listening to them both at the same time.

That’s a valid reason to compare the two. The fact that they have a lot of similarities in style only lends for more fun comparisons. But shutting these connections down is a straight up d*** head and close minded move.

Charli’s tape is like peaking on acid. Future’s is like coming down from it. Both wonderful feelings. It’s okay to connect them.
