FBG Duck getting killed was just adding more fuel to the fire and gives CPD and the task force another reason to be heavily present.
Chicago really bout go up this week. It already started on Sunday.

Summers in New York get real hot. Add in all the tension from people being out of work, protests/riots, it being an election year, and other general Rona hysteria and s*** it's no wonder NY and Chicago have been popping off some extra this year.

Well look at it this way: A lot of people are out of work, social activities are not allowed, schools are closed. A lot of people don't have stuff going on and add heat on top of all of that which has been proven to increase violence. Not to mention gang tension which has been rapidly growing.
Basically there's a lot of free time on people hands combined with stress and heat which in result created perfect storm for rise in violence. Not to mention the nypd been stepping back since the riots and haven't been doing their job and letting gangs go wild.
