Wait I know who Chimp1 is. This that dude who gotta Charles Hamilton cosign.
.....Anyway.
Ktt2 really at the center of rap culture
He blew up off a song that’s entire premise is the fact that he is a white male.
u right
A white male emulating a black male* nigga really called that s*** White Iverson and then talking bout sum I don’t rap
a lot of artists (eg. Ye ) don’t like being labelled a rapper because they feel like they do much more than just that, but because he’s white we’re gonna somehow take this as a diss to hip-hop culture ? cmon now
you also have all these other black artists f***ing with the guy, hanging out with him, making songs, etc., I’d like to think these artists can judge someone’s character well enough to call out Post if he was indeed racist

He doesn’t do more than just that though. He doesn’t produce he doesn’t play live instruments. He raps and he croons. Also he only started talking like this when his white artist increased. He turned on it for perceptions sake not because he’s an artist. He even talked down on it and said Bob Dylan actually makes good music in comparison to rap. It’s not the same.

what’s so wrong about his comment? He prefers Bob Dylan to a lot of today’s rap, cool. Almost certain he’s comparing the substance of Bob Dylan’s music versus the substance (or lack of) in today’s rap. I don’t know Bob Dylan but he’s just sharing his opinion on music like we do all the time. In any case, his peers in hip-hop don’t seem to think he’s racist or has racist tendencies or else they wouldn’t collaborate him.
I don’t even listen to the guy but we can’t be throwing the racist label around like that

Because he was using it to degrade a style he completely emulates and profits off of in an attempt to appease his growing white fanbase once it started to be larger than the black people who helped put him on. It wasn’t some innocent thing he was directly demeaning hip hop as a lower class form of art
If it wasnt for Chimp1 there would be no KTT, no Jay Z, and no Jai Paul
Put some respect on chimp1 name

You been carrying this thread with facts lol

alright man none of this is factual, you’re just pulling your own understanding from what he said when what he said was actually pretty easy to understand. Let’s be honest, we’re only questioning the statement he made because we hate to see this tatted-up dirty looking white dude finding success in hip-hop. Doesn’t sit easy with me neither but that’s not a racist lmao

u acting like other rappers dont always do this when they make comparisons to legends outside of hip hop with their music

It is though?? Why would he feel the need to talk down on rap?? Saying hip hop doesn’t have the same lyrical depth as a Bob Dylan song isn’t factual since it is probably the kost lyrically dense genre. Why would he say that unless he was trying to demean rap?? He never heard a rap song before and started using racist old white guy talking points against it out the blue? Stop cappin for this white man.
