That’s crazy damn gg
It says children who cares
Americans are so goddamn spoiled and individualistic that they think a country is evil for limiting the time kids play video games lmao
Y'all won't mention the Belt and Road debt traps or 996 but gaming?? Now it's an atrocity. America down terrible.
China sucking and China occasionally doing good things are not mutually exclusive possibilities
The US sucks but it does good stuff sometimes too, every country does. Encouraging kids to prioritize academics over gaming is objectively a good thing, I wish the US would do something similar tbh. If y'all in grade school you need to be immersed in learning and building real life relationships.
Gaming isnt inherently antisocial for kids

Mentioned plenty
Gaming isnt inherently antisocial for kids
It is patently antisocial lol yelling at someone over a microphone to take cover while someone drops a digital bomb on you is not socializing it is virtual reality training

Ain't nobody playing local co-op for games that don't require assaulting and/or killing people don't cap.

disagree
Medium to connect to different people in an engaging way and even enhances real life relationships over bonding
If video games are anti-social so is social media

Nobody is gonna be at their house making sure they game for onehour

It blocks online play
You basically need the equivalent of SSN ID to plays games online in China, so everything is tracked

Social media is anti-social as hell s*** spiked depression rates like crazy and mfs don't know how to date to save their f***ing lives anymore
Anything that yielded the Tide Pod challenge and fight compilations is antisocial
Antisocial people with certain tendencies will gravitate towards any activity where they can be alone lol
It's not video games doing it -- socially healthy kids can use gaming a tool to connect more with friends over something fun
I don't even have a game system but this stigma towards gaming is very weird
Millennials and Zoomers are socially inhibited emotionally crippled profoundly empty people writ large, speaking from experience. Oversaturation of digital media and alienation from interpersonal engagement is a direct influence on this phenomenon.
Also worth mentioning some games have so much story telling and lore to them they're very much interactive books and often spawn a lot of creativity in many young people

Gaming is fine. I own a gaming PC, PS4, and Switch. Children absolutely need to be monitored with what they play, especially with regards to modern, hypereal gaming

Well aware lol, I wrote a paper on Metal Gear Solid 2 in college
Gaming is dope, regulating it for young kids isn't a bad thing tbh. There'll be some loophole kids can use to exploit this too, retro gaming on s*** that doesn't have Internet accessibility being the most obvious one.

Don’t play online
I am grateful my parents monitored and limited my gaming until I was like a high school senior, where I was pretty solid at regulating my own gameplay at that point
Kids need to be taught balance and to prioritize what's important in life. S*** doesn't come naturally and when you're not taught this you end up like most deadbeat motherfuckers in the USA and Britain lmao.
