it's difficult for NYC to uproot the entire subway system and renovate because it was the first subway system in the world, has the most daily riders in the world, and runs 24/7
all these other cities just took what NYC started and improved it but it was only thanks to the goat city being pioneers
cause americans think billionaires like musk and bezos are gonna create a utopia for them
and they legit think the government putting money into their failing infrastructure is socialism
Musk and Bezos gonna build a utopia for themselves. We ain't invited, lol.
For the greatest country in the world, other countries sure are beating us in tech tbh
Why public transportation has never been prioritized in the US is beyond me
Well not really beyond me because clearly it’s created an unnecessary industry in automobile ownership, customization and maintenance but I just disapprove
Coporate lobbying, Mr Ford needs to be selling his automobiles
Imagine how nice you’d feel going that fast. Like, it’d probably be like, a plane flying on the ground if that makes sense.
Speed is interesting.
Gotta drive 15 minutes just to get food that doesn't come out of a gas station microwave
😂😂😂😂
Swear some parts of America has the same infrastructure as villages in 3rd world countries
Deadass s*** is baffling
Also imagine trusting a 400 mph train built in China
Ur mentality is stuck in the 20th century

Londons subway is older
NYC subway would be a massive improvement for most US cities
Imagine using public transportation in any place besides NYC. Couldn't be me
Are you telling me you’d rather spend 2-3hrs on the highway traveling what would only take 20 minutes traffic-free?
RIDE THE TRAINS COMRADES
Are you telling me you’d rather spend 2-3hrs on the highway traveling what would only take 20 minutes traffic-free?
Where’s a place in the US that applies to ? And freedom of having a car is way better than public transportation

On 95 more than once it’s taken me at least 4 hrs to drive only 100 miles, even not during rush hour. It’s pretty common for that trip to last 3 hours tho. I’ve never been to west but I hear the 405 is even worse. There’s Amtrak but that’s somehow slower than a good day driving without traffic, its idealistic but there’s a highway that would benefit from a high speed rail

its relative, you wouldnt feel anything
its relative, you wouldnt feel anything
Yeah I guess that’s what I was trying to say, like a floating nothingness. Numb almost
Would love to travel on high speed trains instead of planes. dumbass rick scott killed the plans for high speed rail in Florida
Crazy how we had him then Desantis dumbass back to back
Yeah I guess that’s what I was trying to say, like a floating nothingness. Numb almost
looking out the window is when your head would start to hurt
China has spent the last decade heavily investing in infrastructure both within China & Internationally it is a very good strategy for them tbh
The best example is the new Beijing airport
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zosfa2GQ1A&ab_channel=Dezeen^can't hate tbh
Now go ahead and compare that to LaGuardia
As long as I've lived, every time I drive by laguardia they doing construction and nothing actually getting done, it's wild. I'm convinced it's a front to launder money
Damn, imagine the train crossing bridge not working when this is coming by. Derailment would be F***ED too
For the greatest country in the world, other countries sure are beating us in tech tbh
Right, India got unlimited data plans for like 10 a month
US spent $6.4 Trillion on the wars in the ME since 2001 This is all while China has been spending money on building infrastructure across the World instead of spending it on unnecessary wars for no real gains at all. Imagine if they used that money for actual infrastructure
