Asians have never been for black lives and likely never will be. That “POC solidarity” s*** has always been a myth.

    It's not that simple bro

"Asians have never been for black lives" is way too vague and generalized statement. Obviously you wouldn't say that there aren't Asian individuals who support the black struggle? I agree that non-black POC are way less supportive of the black struggle than they should be (especially Asians), but that doesn't mean that POC solidarity is a myth, it's just not as strong as we would like it to be, but I don't think that such rhetoric will help honestly.

Yeah of course it was a generalization, but I feel like the quicker black people realize we have no “allies” the better off we’ll be. Asians are the LAST place we should look for “allies”

So what are the practical implications of this thought process? Exclude non-black people who want to help? I don't see the point of it honestly. Obviously non-black people are not as committed to the struggle as much as black people, but to say that there none that are on our side... I just don't think that's true and I don't see how that mentality is gonna help either.

There’s definitely some that are down for the cause, but we need to be more selective and less accepting of outsiders. And the first step in doing that is deading that “POC” s***

Sure be cautious in who you accept, but don't be exclusionary. I mean there are people who think that black people that are not ADOS aren't really down either. We can keep dividing but it'll be impossible to achieve anything if you have nobody from the outside supporting you. Solidarity is important.

Everyone is condemning them without thinking about what their lives are like. Especially since Covid

Hate crimes against Asians pretty much go ignored and since Covid the spike has been insane. The only people that help them are the police. No other minority group gives a s*** about Asians and never sticks up for them because they’re seen as level with whites.

It’s understandable that they aren’t fw everything that’s going on.
