It’s fine to like slower and reverb, it’s even fine to prefer it. I get people’s tastes are different. What’s not fine is when people who fw it are blatantly disrespectful to c&s with zero knowledge or understanding of the genre which is an all too common thing

Got into C&S during the Mike Jones era listening to the C&S version of his debut. It always felt so natural to me to like it but everyone I was around hated for the longest

It’s always been neiche, even the generation that did appreciate Chopped and Screwed music and incorporated those sounds in their music didn’t make it pop off more than it was before. This gen doesn’t have that same attachment too so it’s definitely more on the back burner but I think that also has to do with most of the mix DJs not being interested in making that type of music anymore as well
