Say Goodbye
Forever
With You
Up To You
Beg For It - god that last 20 seconds
Are mine today. But let's be honest this is the type of list that can change on a daily basis. Too many hits to choose from.
B2S was definitely the best song from that era though and is one of his best for sure.
Do we think Back To Sleep is top 5 all time for Chris?
for me, it is.
i would go as far as saying it is among the top 10 r&b songs of the last decade.

I agree
Fortune album is his worse album. It’s so bad. Only thing I liked was calypso
Graffiti is at least 10x worse. Fortune has like 6 great songs

it may be his worst project overall, but graffiti also does have its gems: sing like me, crawl, lucky me, i'll go...

i'm a huge fan! pretty much since day one.
i don't have an instagram account... i'm not really into social media, but i might consider creating one, though. i'm having a good time interacting with you guys.
about "hit my line": don't expect it to leak anytime soon. the people who have it don't want to leak it... looks like it will be on the album, though.
people are vaulting it like they did with "gravity" and "who this", so you know what to expect...

That song is not good enough to be on an album
I had high hopes for this album

and you should keep your hopes high, my dude!
chris always puts a random song on his albums... also, the tracklist it's not done.
all i can tell you is: we'll be eating soon.

He gotta move on from that sound man it’s frustrating

way too many OG Parker-type songs, recently.

Yup I hope him and any producers that send him mustard type beats are far away from this album
Speaking of OG Parker. He co produced put in work and I f***ing hate that song. And what made it worse was Chris posting about it and talking about “bringing RnB back” like does he not realize that he’s not gonna be successful with that sound?

we gotta accept the fact that, at this point, chris will hardly have a successful r&b song (i'm talking about charts, of course). take a look at his recent hits and you'll notice that all of them are rap/trap/club oriented... that's the sad truth.
we gotta choose between great, real r&b or hit/successful songs. we pretty much can't expect the same song to be both.
also, take a look at his catalogue... he never was a pure r&b singer. he always went with this huge mix of r&b/rap/pop, jumping on some crazy edm beats and stuff... and that's why he's unique!
i consider the "indigo" title track to be the song that really defines chris as an artist... it pretty much mixes all of the details i mentioned above on a good song.

True but I feel like a great RnB song would still be more commercially successful than a low effort trap rnb song like put in work
I also wouldn’t be mad if he made a great and original pop or rap oriented song but he just continues to make generic songs. And he’s been doing that since X. He always has amazing songs on his albums but they get overshadowed by all the filler. I just feel like he got too many yes men around who hype up everything he does.

i have the same feeling! i hate his filler songs, and i hate the fact that songs like "put in work" or "pills and automobiles" are his choices for single songs.
just take a look at "back to love"... a huge potential, but it was forgotten, with "wobble up" being released few weeks after. that's insane!
too many "yes men"? maybe... maybe he also doesn't listen to constructive criticism.
since you mentioned "x": for me, it's his best one... simply because it's the most consistent project of his catalogue (except for "body shots"... that song is trash).
