But if I had to guess this was a very piss poor attempt at being sarcastic and trying to make fun of how oddly objectifying a show like that really is to little girls. She just lacked the self-awareness to see how weird this would sound out of context at the time.

It’s kinda hard to explain. Pedogate and Pizzagate are 2 different things. It started off with Pizzagate which is about a very specific alleged Washington D.C. pedophile ring. The idea eventually transcended D.C. once Epstein’s logs revealed not only politicians but celebrities were involved.
