No its not man. There is a clear explanation of an afterlife absent of God that is described as eternal fire more than once. The word “hell” is never used but the actual place is not made up. Gehenna and Hades and Sheol in scripture are all used for the same thing - i.e. describe what we call nowadays Hell

Hell is definitely one of the most misunderstood concepts tho. But its not made up
