Was “God’s word” at this point just the Ten Commandments?
During the time yes and everything that was being documented during the OT
The Holy Spirit is real. God is realer than anything in this world.
Think about it, in John 1 it declares that Christ came into the world and they didn't know. That's because as in the days of Noah, Gods spirit was at war with the flesh. The enmity of God. For us to overcome our flesh no matter where we're at in our lives, to be filled with the Holy Spirit family, count that as an ultimate blessing.
Stay in the faith of our Messiah
Peace
Praying for the family. This hurts
Got a Bible on my nightstand, ready to read through the whole thing and watch it's effect on my life and outlook take place. Maybe when it's all said and done I'll be ITT with y'all
Without God we are nothing and we have nothing. After going through the darkest time in my life where I was in the void and wanted to die everyday last year God has made a huge change in my life in every area; I have tasted happiness and joy. I have worked hard and to people on the outside they think I made the change myself but deep down inside I know without God I would have achieved nothing. I hope I can achieve massive success so when the time comes to boast I can safely give all the credit and glory all to the most High.
finally starting to embrace im not supposed to live like the world. here to walk that path and answer the call
Was havin fun. Might start puttin more beats to the word,
You heard of streetlights bible?
Oh I like this. Good look bro
@Bestowed Jesus called himself God in John 8:54-59. Also all people are going to kneel before Christ and worship him. We know that God is a jealous God and will accept no worship of anyone except Himself.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong or have a different version. In the KJV it says
John 8:54
54 Jesus answered, “If I glorify Myself, My glory means nothing. The One who glorifies Me is My Father, of whom you say ‘He is our God.’
All the works of Jesus comes from God who sits on his Throne.
Also in John 8:42
42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on My own, but He sent Me.
Then in John 14:23
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
God and Jesus are one in the Spirit, Jesus prays for us to be One with God, Christ & the Holy Spirit just as He was during his ministry.
God created Jesus. The word God in greek iirc is Dios, it doesn't differentiate the different status' of gods.

Alright lets go back to John chapter 1.
John 1:1 "In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God."
It doesn't differentiate between the status of gods but it does show that Christ was there in the beginning, before all things were made.

That's why in Gen 1:1, the word God means Elohim. There's The Most High God YHWH, Jesus & the Holy Spirit. The Elohim. Some also say that apart of the elohim are the angels but I'm unsure about that lol.
Hence, 'Let us make man in our image' YHWH, Jesus and the Holy Spirit created Adam. Adam made in the image of the Elohim Adam was made. (Gen 1:27 & Colossians 1:15-20) That image of the Elohim is Jesus.
Colossians 1:15-18
15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Yoo! I also had a thought, all in the Old Testament, when it says "The word of the LORD" is that Jesus speaking to the prophets and people of the OT?

Is Jesus a part of all things or is he outside of that category? Either he is part of all things which would mean that all things weren't created for Him, or he existed with God before all of Creation.
Also when it says that all things were made for Christ, Paul would echo that when he says in 1 Corinthians 8:6 that we exist for the Father.

Jesus is apart of all things & It's both.
Matthew 11:27
27 All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.
Matthew 28:18
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
Just want to be clear on my stance. Jesus is apart of the Elohim or the God Head. YHWH and Jesus are two separate Spirits, made 'one' to fulfill YHWH will.
