Jesus is apart of all things & It's both.
Matthew 11:27
27 All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.
Matthew 28:18
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
Just want to be clear on my stance. Jesus is apart of the Elohim or the God Head. YHWH and Jesus are two separate Spirits, made 'one' to fulfill YHWH will.
John 1:3 If Christ was made then that shows that everything wasn't made through him since he wasn't created through himself.

Why would that be then? Can Jesus be the Father and the Only Begotten Son?

Can a Son exist without a Father first? YHWH made Our King and Our King made everything following. Before anything existed, heavens, earth, planets etc. There was the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

That question doesn't make since since both are eternal. I think the Church fathers referred to the Son as eternally begotten.

Agreed. I see it as an order or structure. God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Chain of command essentially. All are one because they're fulfilling the same will.

That's where it gets bad for me because they do have the same will, but they're also the same Being. It's hard to put it in words because it's like trying to define eternity. I worship the Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. One God in three Persons.
I know that God is One, but the bible tells us that there are three who are God. I'm not a polytheist so I'm not going to try to divide God into 3 parts.

Yep fasho fam. Jesus wants us to pray to God and make our requests through Jesus. In Jesus' name we pray amen. He's our mediator. We're to pray in the Holy Spirit, acknowledge Jesus as our mediator and confirmation of our prayers but always pray to The Most High God and God alone.
Just as Jesus prayed Our Father, we are to follow that same way.

New user
Heard a lot about this site from a friend off of Tumblr
I’m glad a thread like this exists because it helps me stay focused on my spiritual journey
How is everyone else?
I love Jesus
need to start reading the Bible again. Will start today
Are you going chronologically or in a more specific order?
Every new Christian should start with the gospels. Then read proverbs after that, you could finish proverbs in a month if you read a chapter a day
I’ve read Psalms, Hebrews, Proverbs, and the gospels
Should I just go chronologically or is there a more specific order I should try first?

I've been doing this plan biblegateway.com/reading-plans/old-new-testament/next?version=ESV
but it seems too late in the year for you to start. Is there a topic in the bible you want to explore?

No topic. I just want to read it in full for some “higher wisdom”
What you mean “too late in the year”? Is that a yearly plan?
