this is a gatekeeper comment but yea yall should expand your directorial scope, so many great directors out there that do not get the same budget as the nolans, Villenuave, etc..

eh I would say Interstellar to Dunkirk is a pretty drastic change up for a director. Even Inception being executed like a hollywood blockbuster 2 hour action movie to a more personal, quieter, and less structurally conventional film in Interstellar to go to a nearly dialogue free, music driven 1.5 hour war film that is edited very unconventionally definitely shows versatility. Yeah, I do agree that it isn't as versatile as like a PTA or even Scorsese, but I wouldn't say he doesn't change his style at all.
