Exactly, a consistency of style and tone is what makes someone good imo, why would I want a comedy from Nolan? That’s not what I like him for, that’s not what his style is, Nolan executes his films incredibly well and he should stick to that, Tarantino absolutely has a consistent style and he sticks to it, and he’s good at it.

He is a great writer of dialogue and character quirks but he is abysmal when it comes to creating a sense of emotional connection to his characters. I do love some of his films, but he has never come even close to creating emotion on the scale of a Dunkirk or Interstellar or frankly many of Nolan's movies (but I will say Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Hollywood, and IB are better than most of Nolans other movies due to other things they do so well)
If you think QT movies aren’t on the level of f***ing DUNKIRK then I’ll just stop wasting my breath now. But I will say,
Imagine not feeling any emotional connection to Django and Broomhilda and King Schultz lol or to the basterds and shoshanna or to Butch in PF or to Jackie Brown and Max Cherry in JB or to cliff and rick
Anyway I’m out. Nolan is a great director, QT is a great director.
