Nolan better send an IMAX projector to every family so we can watch at home if he's real
Sometimes I'm shocked at how stupid this nation is, and I really shouldn't at this point.
Don't see this coming out in July with the way things are going....
yeah really can see it getting pushed back a whole year tbh
I’ve been seeing the media saying this could be the first post corona virus blockbuster that is used as a litmus test by the rest of Hollywood

Then they laughed their asses off during Rey Kylo kiss
Warner Bros CEO reaffirmed to THR today that they are committed to releasing ‘Tenet’ on its current release date along with ‘Wonder Woman ‘84’.
This movie has a production budget north of $200M, they‘ll never get the money back if they do release this as planned when theatres can only operate with limited capacity.

Yup there’s no way any sane studio executive would release this in July. Hollywood is an extremely small circle of people which means if your friends are pushing their films back, it’d be financially wise to do so too.
The only way they’d make money is the fact that it’s an open summer slot for them. Moving it back to winter may force competition but it’s Nolan so I doubt that matters.

It matters because WB gambled like 200million+ on this
idc how long I have to wait, I'm not watching this joint on my f***ing iMac.
I'm coming to the theaters, mask on, no snacks, and hand sanitizer on deck.

Facts... no chance I’m seeing this anywhere but a theater

1) it's not a gamble, it's christopher nolan
2) the only gamble is releasing this during a height of a global pandemic and in the best case scenario, right after it dies down meaning theaters will still be at limited capacity and the general public will be somewhat skeptical
P sure there’s no way any theater near me is gonna be open by the time this drops

Yh they’re better off pushing it back until next summer. People won’t fill up theaters like they used for a while after the peak of the pandemic has passed.
