So damn good

Zimmer's a genius, but a good bit of the reason Zimmer's soundtracks have been so successful in Nolan films is due to Nolan himself. Nolan has motifs and types of music in mind and communicates with composers prior to just about any other crew members.

Dunkirk's score is one of Zimmer's best ever and is a main component of why the film works so well, and Zimmer was the first to say the process was strenuous because Nolan was so particular about what he wanted in order to make the film work.

Ludwig has been working with Nolan on this for a long time, and Nolan knows exactly what this film needs to enhance it. Ludwig is the man for the job and he's gonna bring it.

Yeah honestly the score sounds just like some Nolan s*** but amplified with Ludwig's touch

Some really weird shots I'm not used to from Nolan, I'm noticing from one of the screenshots that we're released and the beginning shots in the trailer scream intimacy and closeness, and focus on the character to kind of create claustrophobia (window shot and kidnapping/torture shot)

Usually with Nolan you see these zoomed out setpieces mostly but this is something different

you've seen the prologue?

“We’re jumping off from the point of view of an espionage film, but we’re going to a number of different places,” explains the director of the blockbusters Inception, Interstellar, Dunkirk, and the Christian Bale-starring Batman trilogy. “We’re crossing a few different genres in a hopefully exciting and fresh way. Producer Emma Thomas and I have put together a lot of large-scale productions, but this is certainly the biggest in terms of international reach. We shot in seven countries, all over the place, with a massive cast and huge set pieces. There’s no question, it’s the most ambitious film we’ve made.”

The director also reveals that Washington is “very much the hero” of Tenet. “He’s a massively talented actor and physically gifted,” Nolan says of the BlacKkKlansman star, who is a former professional football player. “He’s an athlete and pretty hard for anybody to keep up with, including the different vehicles we shot him from — cars and helicopters. Laughs This guy moves.”

Speaking of vehicles, Washington recalls the difficulty of looking at ease while shooting a boat-set sequence with Debicki. “I was terrified, but when Christopher Nolan yelled ‘Action!’ I had to throw all that away and make it look cool,” says the actor. Why was he terrified? “Because it’s a boat, man!” Washington adds with a laugh. “I don’t know how to drive a boat! But I had to act like I did.”

Glad to hear everyone is loving Ludwig’s music, he truly is the next star of this medium

Knew prologue would be 1 of 2 setpieces they filmed and it turned out to be one of them. Still curious if it's the beginning of the film (like TDK/TDKR) or footage from a bit of the way in (Dunkirk).
