i didn’t think he would top oppenheimer, but oh man…fucking wow.
Oppenheimer wA good?
People keep saying Odysseus and his crew were the sea peoples. They were not the sea peoples. Did their act themetically foreshadow the rise of the sea peoples, yes. But when the characters were tossing about their fears of sea peoples, it was NOT Odysseus literally

Ppl are dumb asf
Read that there was only 1 scene with 2 ladies that are talking to each other lmao
Nolan's ass just got Bechdel'd!
Now I gotta rewatch Tenet and Oppenheimer AND finish reading The Odyssey
man what be happening in your area
Lmaooo completely kidding
Movie was amazing, dethroned Obsession for my favorite of the year so far
What happened this time
Lmao nah I was f***ing around, if someone was playing around during the 70mm I would not be here rn
oddysye jus couldnt board a direct ship to ithaca? what the f*** is he stupid?
But then we wouldn’t get to see cyclops
Watched it in 70 mm IMAX and was completely blown away. Felt truly engulfed by the experience, and the screen is just one of the essential puzzle pieces, it's everything and everyone. The writing, direction, acting, music...
Pacing does feel intense the first 30 mins, lots of exposition, but settles down in a masterful way after that. (Oppenheimer had that same issue iirc.)
Perfect Nolan-esque/'Modernized' take on The Odyssey story. Lots of people were crying about it during the trailers, don't see any of that right now. Trust this genius.
