    fact check correction: (Google gemini)

"Matthew Francis Nolan, was never convicted of murder, but he was convicted of attempted prison escape and obstruction of justice in the United States. He was also extensively investigated for major international crimes including kidnapping, contract killing, and passport fraud."

"They discovered a 31-foot rope made from bedsheets, a makeshift harness, a razor blade, and a metal clip modified to unlock handcuffs"

"Before his arrest for the Costa Rican murder warrant, he was also under investigation by Chicago police for an unrelated $700,000 bank fraud and check-kiting scheme"

i guess the hitman stuff is just people assuming but no conviction for that specifically

Would be sick if Nolan made a film about his brother lol

Read that there was only 1 scene with 2 ladies that are talking to each other lmao

Anne Hathaway & Mia Goth scene?

  • i know this is a classic because i threw on a camrip out of curiosity to see how it looked and ended up watching the entire movie at 3am. s*** looked incredible

completely disagree. this in Dolby was probably the loudest movie i’ve ever seen.i thought i was about to die on the sea with them

I saw it in 70mm IMAX

It’s def loud but seeing interstellar and Dunkirk and tenet, I still vividly remember so many very loud moments from all those movies

Here, nothing stuck out to me like that. Really it was the visuals here which stuck with me in the experience (especially that night storm sequence)

Def wasn’t as loud as the no time for caution scene or cornfield chase or the opening scene of tenet

Maybe I’m just accustomed to the Nolan experience in theaters at this point

I fluctuate between Hades and Circe

  • the pig scene was also insane

  • after my second watch I was still blown away by the capsizing scene, it was just so perfectly done despite the difficulty

Can we talk about how dope it was to do the Cyclops like that? Felt like something out of Smiling Friends in the best way possible

Nolan’s bow to Ray Harryhausen, masterfully done.

I’m seeing it in laser imax tomorrow but ever since we got a Dolby theatre, I’ve always been in favor of Dolby over imax.
