i’m hella grateful that i got to see this for the first time 6 weeks after release. and i’ll have another month to get more viewings in. that’s so rare nowadays. we gotta bring back longer theatrical runs

The final act really saved the movie in my opinion. It’s hard to care about Odysseus for most of the movie until he returns home and restores order. The whole PTSD angle just doesn’t work for this time period.

Typically I’m not a big Holland fan but he really helped sell this movie the most for me.

Also half of his persona is “defy the gods” and half of his persona is “I have ptsd from breaking Zeus law”
