Just wanna say that I find it very convenient that The Prisoner is available to stream for free on Tubi all of sudden (or at least it’s being promoted). Also saw that they were planning on a 4K release of it the show too… so maybe the rumor has validity
"Some say it will be a remake of the mystery-thriller “The Prisoner,” based on the 1960s TV series created by and starring Patrick McGoohan, which Nolan was attached to in 2009....Others say he will begin writing a new screenplay now that the awards season is behind him."
Read the actual article before fiending over Twitter bait lmao
If Variety had a scoop like this, they'd be BLASTING it.
Back in 2012 people thought Nolan was gonna do the live action Akira remake.
Should’ve been Refn
we need a horror film from him now, interested to see what he'd cook up
He's stated recently that that's a genre he wants to do, but only wants to do it if he gets the right idea.
So that's definitely a possibility of what he may end up doing next.

he’s had small snippets of it in his other movies & he’s pretty effective at nailing an unnerving atmosphere imo
Oppenheimer’s post-Hiroshima speech scene is probably the best he’s done but Dunkirk & Tenet have glimpses of horror I love too
if it's actually the prisoner, Pattinson's agent better start doing their job. another Cillian lead would be dope too
I’m praying for an announcement of whatever is next during Universal’s panel at Cinemacon
Need it badly

Nah, we won't know until late this year or early next year.
