For 6 idk if hiring someone as famous as Giancarlo was a good idea, the story in general was pretty weak and they just gave him the generic Gus role he’s been playing for the last decade. You could tell he was phoning it in.

Cillian could be different, if they have a solid story and let him go crazy it has the potential to be as good as Vaas.

This a wild ass take to me Hated 5's villain. Wasn't intimidating at all, he was supposed to be a cult leader but looked like a manbun wearing tech bro. Also seemed to be exuding weird sexual energy during cutscenes, bro got way too close to my character everytime And you barely have confrontations with him, you're just doing repetitive tasks on a list of chores, maybe getting kidnapped and breaking out over and over again (which makes no sense. Just kill my character the 4th time you kidnap them) until you get to fight his siblings and eventually him.

Vaas was the last and only truly great villain this series has had

I'm never playing another game in this series again after I played 5. Laziest AAA game I've ever played. F*** Ubisoft

5 at least had some passion put into. 6 is just everything bad about Ubisoft games turned up to 11.

I felt no passion. They just release you into the open world with a list of basic chores to do over and over again until you can confront the main villains. You occasionally get captured and it's the same thing over and over again when you break out. Brainless AI, both your companions and enemies. Every character is the typical redneck, gun loving, cheeseburger eating American stereotype. The game wants you to spend actual money on cosmetics and weapons because of the way the economy works

Got this game for free/next to nothing and it still pissed me off. Critics' standards are too low, I would've given it a 4/10 at most

Replayed 3 to 5 last year.

4 had good gameplay and some of the best features I’ll give it that. Story was uninteresting to me minus Pagan & a little bit of Yuma

2 is honestly the best one but 3 is so influential that it gets the slight edge. Plus Vaas is 1000x times better than The Jackal.

I played a bunch of 2 on the PS3 back in the day, thought it was full of cool little ideas but found it pretty rough around the edges
