They’re allotment gardens — i.e., a place for people who live in apartments in the city to have a little plot of land where they can do some gardening in the spring and summer months. Generally, there are laws that prohibit people from living in them full time

Always felt like sharp architecture with contrasting materials and colours like this should've taken over as the new "modernist" movement, it's way more tied in with classic styles of architecture and felt like a respectful continuation to them

Not a lot of them
Downtown still retains a surprising amount of old architecture but it's limbs compared to how massive LA actually is
