Finally a thread like this was made
Here are some of my favourite gems from Madrid, which is fully packed with gorgeous architecture:
Gran Via(GOATed avenue for architecture, one of the best in the world):
Banco Espanol del Rio de la Plata(mouthful but this building has such good detailing it's insane):
Palacio de Comunicaciones(windows and spires are buff):
Edificio Telefonica(art deco at its finest):
This pretty, but can't shake the feeling that a lot of it is thanks to Franco
Iām a junior architect so Iām in af for this thread
Letās talk about the monstrous sprawl of Los Angeles

Most architecture was made under questionable working conditions too
I just appreciate the craftsmanship and effort of the workers and the design of the architects

It's crazy cause it didn't use to be like that

Just taking a look at this will blow your mind away
Unironically loved the domes and organic shape concepts Kanye prototyped. Does anybody know of any architects he worked with? I know James Terrell provided the inspiration for natural light/open roofs
OP as in overpowered? Good or bad?
Overpowered
Gives a cleaner look and maintenance is easier

No overhead and grass would be the LIONed combo imo.
OP as in overpowered? Good or bad?
Yep, overpowered as in good design. Clean with no railing. Is it still electrical?
Denmark
Itās not actually a place where people live. Theyāre allotment gardens ā i.e., a place for people who live in apartments in the city to have a little plot of land where they can do some gardening in the spring and summer months. Generally, there are laws that prohibit people from living in them full time
Crazy good looking house
Always felt like sharp architecture with contrasting materials and colours like this should've taken over as the new "modernist" movement, it's way more tied in with classic styles of architecture and felt like a respectful continuation to them

That is insane! I didnāt expect this at all
I havenāt been back to LA in years. Have they retained a lot of these Victorian buildings or did they get torn down?

Not a lot of them
Downtown still retains a surprising amount of old architecture but it's limbs compared to how massive LA actually is
I want to visit Barcelona so badly. I just want to see with my own eyes this beauty and be assured that it exists.
saint vitus cathedral in Prague is insane as well
