You can have an album thats classic to you personally then there are albums that are classical pieces of work that impacted the culture in some way.
50 Cent's Get Rich or Die Trying for example. Thats a classic album, not a personal one.

Hip Hop unlike ANY other genre tends to treat āclassicsā like NBA championship rings. Hence why we jump at the chance to call any album a classic like the DAY it drops. Thatās why the definition ends up getting so skewed with niggas wanting to make their own criteria to justify their favorite artists having classics when they likely donāt.
Personally, I just have my personal definition and donāt really care whether an album really is a classic or not.
