Yo what happened to that El Senor nigga or whatever his name is that used to do the threads detailing unreleased albums and classic moments in hip hop, he was on point
Lot of mixtapes are at risk of being forgotten moreso than albums i think
Burn after rolling didnt make it to streaming
The streaming version of Kush & OJ sucks ass man

he got banned
Still I Rise has some of his best records too his Outlawz group album that was stuck in label shelf hell forever but thanfully it got released post in 99 even tho it was suppose come out years prior
Thug Life is better to me overall than AEOM but AEOM of course has higher highs and iconic status
Still I Rise is great but I like some of the OG tracks on there better than the released version
big L lifestyle of the poor and riches
lox debut album
z-ro and trae it is what it is
I co-sign Big L debut, also I’m gonna add Big Pun debut
This don't make it a classic to be honest, it could just be a great record
Well it’s never objective, I’d say it’s a personal classic while also being underrated especially in the scope of the time in which it was released
Im always up to discuss Rap and music in general in a frfr sense, especially Rap im deep in that s*** heavy and imeven irl back in the 2010s. Hole in the wall 20s dollar concerts, lil beat/rap battles & mistape surfing heavy - plus coming from in growing up in a heart of hiphop along with having some family with decent strides in Rap music helps a lot
I used to do a lot of threads like this back on ktt1 as well and what made my account "poppin" in ktt
Unfortunately theres not a lot of opportunity to discuss this kind of ish nowadays
Salute to people like @Aquilla @AudioConsulting @FlyHiii n shrem (cant find his @ lmao) and a few other that do still do dope threads every now and then n lets me get my essay skills n knowledge some practice here n there🌡🙌
Thanks fam, I just love hiphop too much and discovered a lot through here when i was younger back on the OG KTT
So it’s only right to keep the hiphop discussion going now that the site has kind of moved on from being just a hiphop forum
Especially since a lot of people on here have great taste as well
Thank you for your contribution g

Big Pun's debut is not forgotten tbh, it has arguably his most recognizable song on there
Well it’s never objective, I’d say it’s a personal classic while also being underrated especially in the scope of the time in which it was released
I feel you bro but when I think of forgotten classic I think of s*** that changed the canon of rap or something that gets overlooked today.
Drogas Wave is a great album but compared to your other examples it's not as essential when talking about classic and impactful records

Well obviously an album like that or the aforementioned Black on Both Sides aren’t forgotten
But I’m also making this thread with the current climate of internet hiphop discussion and the younger generation in mind
They are certified classics but they don’t get brought up the same way OutKast albums, Illmatic, Pac albums etc etc still get brought up on the regular
So it’s moreso me showing love instead of saying nobody remembers those records, which some people on the first few pages didn’t really interpret that way ig

I understand but didn’t feel like giving it a dedicated thread so figured i just shoehorn it in here. I might make a seperate one though
Last one not a classic but criminally underrated
i feel like a lot of missy’s s*** gets overlooked she got an amazing 3 album run
they could all be arguable classics if we gon be real
