why are drake fans content with drake dropping the same music
They don’t care about quality, just numbers

Just like Kanye fans being happy with cult Ye. It is what it is.
I like both so it's been a hard month. At least Ye got me worried from the start with Jesus is boring.
This is actually getting worse the more I listen to it
Yeah because you realize he made better versions of these songs before on older albums
Top 5 LPs / rap LPs this year?
I don't have an order but I think its
Tyler
Vince
slowthai- TYRON
Cole
Isaiah Rashad
Neither Ye nor Drakes albums were their best effort

if you take the the cole "double plat no features" fans, but for every album and they all sound the same you get drake fans
drake music just changes fonts
it's crazy at 2am people were acting like this the album of the year and hating on anyone who said something negative to what we see now
"I had to f*** a lotta girls to get a son like this"
what???
cant say he doesnt get b****es

I do in fact like it, but not enough to edge the other 5 guys off of their effort this year. Tyler did a more rap centric album which I loved. Vince did a more accessible album which was a step forward for him. slowthai took a humongous leap forward as an overall artist in the second half of his LP and the hype half was fire. Cole kind of did his version of DAMN imo and he finally put together an LP I could just hit play on from front to back. Isaiah, it was just good to have him back and he brought some heat.
Donda, this thing felt like a humongous sprawling effort. Something a bi-polar Beethoven would drop. With heart felt emotion and tribute to his mother woven all inside. I really did like it.
Drake is just kind of doing victory laps every time out, not a lot new there. He doesn't have a ground breaking next level LP and thats fine.

Not a Drake fan but I think this album is better than his past 3 album releases though problem is…..by not much really
Thing is while this album does have great songs it feels uninspired at time and some of these feel like the same old Drake with that same tired flow that sounds like he’s talking to a therapist. Beat selection for sure gotten better, but mixing feels inconsistent
I have accepted the fact that we’ll never get another IYRTITL or NWTS level album from him again. From now on he’ll just be releasing more Views type albums where they lack complete cohesiveness and it’s the “something for everybody” type tracks.
This will for sure make me appreciate his pre-views music much more now

Man Champagne Poetry so damn hard. Maybe cause I’m making money right now so I feel it, but this might be the best intro track The Boy ever did
his decline began like 6 years ago, where tf have you been at this album is just the lowest point of his decline so far
Eh I’d say around Scorpion is when his music started really getting stale to me
