For some reason i always listen to tyler albums heavily for like 2 weeks but then after that maybe 1-2 times a year. Idk why cause i consider myself a fan
Voice of the heroes still at #12 on the billboard 200 despite being called fast food music while call me if get mid is at 76
Only real music gonna last tbh
since when is tyler a sales artist
you guys love to act like he didnt come from music blogs lmao
well he hardly promotes his album outside of first month, disappears from social media, and doesnt do interviews. perspective wise to casuals it looks like people dont care
but the music is still good and people still listen to it
an alt-rapper doesn't chart as well as the 2 biggest newgen rapper's collab album who would've thought
He had higher first week sales but only real music keeps people listening.

He had higher first week sales than them lol
Not their fault his music doesn’t have longevity

he’s had a career for over ten years now and people are still checking for him, how is that not longevity?
no disrespect to baby and durk but they have a sound that is very current. tyler has always been left field

Argue with the metrics not me
People gave it a listen off of name value and went right back to good music

chart longevity hinges on marketablity, radio, playlisting, length and a bunch of other s***
not real music fake music just say you hate Tyler and go

Consistent streams is a good indicator of how people receive your album
If it falls off the face of the earth, chances are you put out a project not worth listening to twice

Everytime someone tries to have a go at CMIYGL like it wasn't good music just know they telling more about themselves than about the album (and weirdly most of the people trashing it happen to be known... Drake stans you really can't make this up).
Imagine capping for Yeat on a thread and then with a full face come in here calling CMIYGL "mysterious music"
music sexion makes this thread at least three times a week
whole lot of discussion for a "came and went" album

CLB Kubernetes main passion is NOT music it's actually pocket watching
my god. shut the f*** up

not really, marketable music gets consistent streams before usually becoming irrelevant when a new album comes out and partly replaces it, becoming the new hot trend
I overlistened to CMIYGL in the first weeks but I still think it's a 9/10 and I can see myself returning to that album a lot during my life (already did a couple of times)
