same, i dont think it was ever shown but i just remember drake saying songs like in my feelings and mob ties were recored in the two weeks between the beef and the album release
i think it was the first disc that got butchered. half that disc addresses pusha/ye beef that didn't occur until the month before the album dropped

I agree with the nostalgia effect, but one of the main reasons why this album is overlooked is because Drake's beef with Pusha T stained this whole album with a nasty stain that cannot seem to be removed
What a shame because this was Peak Drake

So it confirms my theory that the beef both "hindered" & "improved" the album as a whole because "Mob Ties" is legit a great song with a unique top-form Drake.
Side B seems like the least affected from the Beef.
