Cyborg is in the justice league no solo movie out yet
Storm is in the xmen no solo movie out yet
Static is just getting a movie now. The avengers and justice league have black members too u know lol, u dont need to change races.
And that point doesnt really make sense when the only black leading character on a comic book show is luke cage and the show got canceled after 2 seasons lol. Those other characters on the other shows are supporting roles. And cloack and dagger and runaways come on now
There's a thought that the Cyborg movie wasn't made because it would cost too much for them to make his cybernetic parts, but I agree he should get a movie. They took time, but they gave us the superhero film with a black lead, so I'm sure we'll get more. I don't see the point in complaining about his name though when he was named in the 60s. Who besides Wolverine has a solo movie? Just because they're supporting characters doesn't mean they're not represented. What's wrong with Runaways?

Nothing wrong w supporting characters, but taking the extra step to have a black superhero as the lead and give them more parts and a bigger role in a movie would be nice especially since there has only been 1 since the mcu and dceu started.
I mean those black superheros with black in front of it have racist undertones behind the naming, I think it's fair in not being the biggest fan of a black superhero whose identity is tied to them being black
Runaway is super obscure and barely counts as superhero show to me tbh
Other than ‘Black’ Panther, what ‘Black’ named hero is he referring to?
Black Lightning? That's about it.
Well, yeah. I just posted that we need more GOOD black super heroes. Not just more black superheroes.
There's also Black Manta for the DC antiheroes btw.
Marvel's biggest TV superhero was Luke Cage tho. Boring af imo.
Loved Luke Cage
F***ed with all those marvel x netflix series tbh

The characters were made during more racist times, so it can't be helped. The more known comic book heroes are white which is why I'd say they get more exposure. Lesser known black heroes would probably be treated like Runaways or Cloak and Dagger. Like people didn't even know Black Panther existed before the movie and I talked to people who didn't even know it was a comic after it came out

Well if were being real most of the superheros on avengers weren't A list superheroes before being put on the big screen, ant man, gotg, black widow, iron man and captain america before 2008 were not that know at all either. So putting more black superheroes in the movie can easily turn a character well know just like that, ie black panther. So there should be no issue with putting black superheros as leads especially with the success of black panther
Also hot take but Miles a better Spider-Man all around then Peter
This facts but white people don’t wonna admit it

They were already making animated movies about Iron Man and the ultimate Avengers before Iron man came out though. GOTG was possible because people were in the MCU at that point and watching movies. Black Panther was a recent movie, they saw it works, so more will come. That's why I'm saying his argument that it's not here now doesn't make sense. My point about it not being popular was more about TV shows about characters no one knows.
bruh you're a Russian weirdo almost 30 years old who pretended to be a teenage French girl
how you don't have a permaban is beyond me , go to Kpop twitter hangout with the 12 year olds you pretend to be
Wait , he not even that girl ?
I’m black but it’s not that hard too see why they didn’t before now.
It’s about the money!
Majority of people that historically saw comic book films are white, so of course they are going to market it more to them. Just money.
But obviously inclusion is the cool trend now so your seeing more diversity, but they are only making it more diverse because diversity is making money right now.
The first and last motivation is the money period.

Animated movies and full feature films are two different ballparks, the mcu catapulted the popularity of the avengers to A lister. The true A listers of marvel were all sold to fox which is why they were sold.
Black panther came out almost 4 years ago and there doesn't seem to be no urgency to get more black superheroes on the screen. I mean falcon the next CA is not even getting a solo he getting a tv show with another white lead. Cyborg movie has no info in sight. Same with static

I'd agree they are the more popular heroes, but I'd say aside from the Fox properties I think he was the only one with a previous Cartoon series. The actual Black Panther movie only came out 2 years ago though. They wouldn't know how well it would do until after that. The sequels might introduce us to more characters who get stand-alone films. We also got Spider-verse though. The Cyborg movie is a shame though.
Like half that list "been in something"
Just admit you were wrong lmao
more than half, maybe 3-4 characters haven't been in anything.
So 2 total?
Yeah. But that's cause most black heroes are boring. They need to pick better ones and do a better job with them.
I'm watching Stargirl, and the black girl's character sucks.
Loved Luke Cage
F***ed with all those marvel x netflix series tbh
I liked him in Jessica Jones and Defenders. But I was bored as f*** watching his own show.

Yeah, I mean, they didn't do a female comic book character movie until Wonder Woman. And there are only 2 movies so far, Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel.
