Of the people actively engaged in politics in this section, around half are socialists. At least there are more socialists than social democrats and way more of both combined then conservatives. I don’t like conservatives either but I’m not gonna act like they’re some majority just cause I’m opposed to them

You've again missed the point. Site wide the people who post about politics are a huge minority. So much that the politics section is unrepresentative of the actual user base.

Just because the majority of people here aren’t that political doesn’t make the claim that there are “3 communists, a dozen social democrats, and 500 guys who dream of being landlords” true. The facts are around half of the people on the site as a whole are pretty sympathetic to socialism, it’s not like the base of the politics sxn is radically different from the entire site
