i finish most of my games, but sometimes i’ll get burnt out on one and will drop it for a while til I feel like coming back and beating it.
rn i’m at the final bosses in Doom Eternal, Dark Souls 3, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and somewhere in the middle of Dragon Quest XI, but i’m not actively playing any of those games lmfao. i’ve been grinding Final Fantasy VIII lately
If I start a game I finish it
But I’m selective of what games I buy and play, I would never impulse buy something
i try and beat every game i get tbh and the only 2 i havent willingly finished yet are DBZ Kakarot and Batman AK

Why not those two?
Why not those two?
ive seen DBZ til Buu too many times and there isnt enough gameplay besides "fly here, do this, fly there, story cinematic"
and Batman because i got it on sale for $15 or w.e the same time as Jedi Fallen Order and Far Cry 5 so it just got stuck in my backlog, also not the biggest fan of Batman tbh
my actual backlog is me catching up on these Ubisoft games while i wait for The Medium, Far Cry 6, Halo Infinite and Cyberpunk to get fixed up

oh and i never finished Monster Hunter World, Mass Effect Andromeda or Final Fantasy XV either, those all seemed like well games but i couldnt get into them enough to finish

It's an in the wilderness open world first person shooter
Ah I see
you liberate camps while exploring the map and unlocking gear and vehicles, all while there's a pretty well written and wild story
there's more wildlife than GTA and the regions are remote
Far Cry 5 is way newer than GTA 5 so this is obvious but the movement and visuals alone make going back to GTA 5 feel terrible lol
ive only finished a handful of games lol
in the last 10 years i think ive only completed
pokemon games
source games
uhhh, i think thats about it
single player games just bore me. id rather play multiplayer games with a ranking systtem
I could probably count on my hands how many games in my catalog (across all my systems) that I've actually finished. Ps4 is the biggest culprit
These days there's very few games i make it through the entire story and even less where i do all the side content + story. I have a problem where i buy games on sale, play them for a few hours/days and lose interest.
Got about 130 games I haven't beaten yet if you include all the s*** I downloaded for emulators

This is me forsure lol. “Oh s*** its only $15!?” I get it and never touch it again after the tutorial. Lol
if i dont enjoy playing im not gonna force myself to finish it
that being said i only buy games i know im gonna enjoy, on pc i sometimes used to just pirate a game if im unsure about liking it, then if i enjoy it i buy it and if i dont i dont have to trip about money spent on it. now that i got a ps5 i guess ill just be even more selective about buying s***

MHW is soooooo much fun but it’s soooooooooooooooooo long and gets tedious by the time you make it to the high level hunts in the DLC Iceborne. i’ll def pick it up again, but i couldn’t help getting burnt out on so massive a game.
with that being said, the joy you feel when you finish an Iceborne hunt or get the last few resources to craft some Iceborne armor is another level
