@relm Do you have any suggestions for getting into Computer Graphics? Was looking into this course, but not sure how good it is or if you have any suggestions?
it looks pretty good, it covers a decent portion of the basics. there's also the edX course which is the one I used to originally get into it. I don't think it really matters which one you end up going with.
I think the most valuable resources are ones that are math-heavy, there's a book called 'essential mathematics for games and interactive applications' that solves most of the math-related problems. It's very good. learnopengl.com is an extremely good resource, too.
The best way to get into graphics for me was to implement my own raytracer, it's not very complicated but it was a really good starting point to show me how things work out in a lower level. The final product doesn't have to be fancy as long as you're introduced to the key concepts
What are some career paths for combining biology type stuff with programming? Majoring in neuroscience and immunology but started taking up an interest in programming recently
If u go to grad school in any of those areas u will have ample opportunities to code. P much every biology lab needs computational help

rt on bioinformatics--an example of sumn bioinformatics-y is like taking cancer research data and creating machine learning models outta the data to determine what factors are important in determining malignancy or sumn -- medium.com/datadriveninvestor/breast-cancer-detection-using-machine-learning-475d3b63e18e type ting
as well as a lotta genetics stuff
defs really data science-y tho as opposed to computer science ig
but i think it theres a lotta cool stuff you could w it relating to immunology
these free video lectures are so nice !! im like halfway thru the theory of computation ones rn (also on youtube here youtube.com/playlist?list=PL601FC994BDD963E4 ) and theyre explained dumb simply i love it we stan

Hmm interesting what did they reply? Always thought it was mandatory and there was no other way

Said they’d talk to the recruiter and have her call. She never called so I’m guessing they just said f*** that guy.
She still has time though this is holiday season so it may take a week or so.

Damn maybe try to hit to her up again or something.
Just wondering why don't let them fly you out?

I have work. And I’m moving in a week, so I can’t and don’t want to take off for 3 days for something that’s not even guaranteed. The position is in DC, just let me do an interview there or remotely instead of making me fly to Texas for interviews.
