From the top of my head Salesforce, Confluent, Visa give concurrency questions/problems. But it's probably specific to the roles I'm applying for.
that’s pretty interesting visa gave me some pretty basic programming questions when i interviewed there

left my former job and was considering getting into tech be it IT, Cybersecurity or project management. I am looking at course era courses since I have the upcoming winter and feel in 90 days I have a lot of possibilities. Just thinking of where best to start and if it truly enables career. Even if its A+ certification

I am wondering is there really opportunity with entry level without experience and what it gets me to. Currently interviewing at a place for game testing since I majored in Game Design. Will see how it goes and either way consider training during employment because tech jobs pay the most in the field even if not necesarily as engaging. Thanks for responding

Pick something and set your mind to it. Having a bunch of certs in random s*** doesn’t help necessarily.
Masters are a great way to get internships and build your portfolio

hope you're aware that recruiters arent dumb and can see that you're trying to compensate your lack of experience with thousands of useless certificates

I get that but he lowkey has a point. I’m not in data or cloud as much but in SWE 1 internship is worth like all of those certs
This thread gives me anxiety all it reminds me of is how little progress I’ve made towards job searching

Hang in there. If it was easy, everyone would be in tech. Trust me I know it can get rough.

Mmm, this is kinda difficult. Especially in the current economy. I’ll be honest I don’t think certificates matter at all if you’re trying to be a SWE.
You need to something where recruiters would think you’ll be a fit on whatever teams need people. You should work on some open source projects, maybe some personal projects and have those on your resume listing the technologies you have used.
Recruiters are not that knowledgeable on the actual tech they’re just looking for key things, and if you don’t have actual experience then I think that’ll be next best thing. If you aren’t trying to be a SWE then I think certificates based on what you’re trying to do would matter more.
If you get a masters in CS that’ll improve your chances a lot tbh, just having a BA would be enough.
Also depends on what salary you’re trying to get as well.
anyone use remmina before?
keystroke still not being passed b/w clipboards and its driving me f***ing insane.
I've tried 10+ fixes
