I find cringe people that are really into music, wasting their time on forums and s*** in meaningless arguments "x is better, no y better" i think it's even dumb to compare or rate music, it's just too subjective and abstract. I find myself doing all this s*** but it's only because i love to s***post on ktt2 when i'm bored.
usually because they're not actually "really into music", they just like listening to it, so they're going to have endless mindless """dialogues""" about muh x vs muh y.
When you actually pick up some musical knowledge you understand it can be spoken about in objective terms where you can appreciate what most artists do, and also compare them rationally in conversation.
i never listened to WTT or any kanye s*** pre 808‘s
you depriving yourself of some real good music in life.
I don't listen to albums I listen to my favorite songs on loop

i skipped thru one of his older albums once but i wasn‘t feeling it tbh
i think people sometimes project their nostalgia for a better time onto the music
maybe i just wasn‘t in the right mood though idk
Michael Jackson from the 90's onwards was the corniest artist to ever do it.
70's-80's MJ still fire though

idk the music he made in the 90's was corny but still pretty good
I'm not really a fan of Dre's beats after The Chronic. There are some exceptions like Still D.R.E. and In Da Club, but I don't really listen to those albums, or early Eminem for that matter.
I totally disagree but I aint mad at you. Velvet Rope is a classic album and one of the greatest RnB albums
Agree. I respect this opinion.
No Janet album f***ing with Dangerous (Michael’s magnum opus IMO)
Fiona Apple is very boring.
I know this is a huge hot take and that she’s obviously a great musician to inspire so much love and devotion to her art—but it ain’t for me, and that’s fine.
